JUSTIN DICKEL
Justin graduated from film school with a 1st Class (BA) Degree in film, photography and animation. His final film won best student film at the Royal Television Society Awards.
Justin began working in the industry as an editor (woorking on commercials, music videos and cinema trailers).

Shifing disciplines from his honed skills behind an editing desk to behind the camera, Justin took his first foray into directing with his internationally renowned, self-funded, anti drink-driving test commercial 'Think'. The film was profile in Shots magazine before going on to be included as part of the 'Evolutions' New Directors showcase in both London and New York.

The subseqent attention opened up the doors he needed to make the gradual transition from editor to director in both music videos and commercials. To date, he has worked with acts such as Take That, Orson, Just Jack, David Jordan, Bell X1 and Ministry of Sound creating both visually inventive and heavily rotated videos. In 2007 he was the top UK music video director - based on airplay.

Justin's work in commercials has been extensive, working in both London and around the world for such diverse clients as Vodafone, Pantene, Herbal Essence, Carrier, News Corp. Fayrouz and Americana.

Justin's has also directed a number of TV programmes. He was nominated for the prestigious Golden Rose award for his darkly comic series entitled Magick - screened on Channel4.
